Being Itchy Stinks!
Staying up all night with an itchy dog or cat can be very frustrating for a pet owner and even more frustrating for the pet.
The Canadian Academy of Veterinary Dermatology (CAVD) has partnered up with Royal Canin, Zoetis and CEVA Animal Health to initiate the ‘Empathy for Itch’, awareness and education campaign.
The goal of this campaign is to enhance the pet owner’s awareness of what is normal and when to seek veterinary care for early medical treatment with the emphasis on ‘Itchy pet, see your vet’; and to share tools and handouts to assist veterinarians in dealing with allergic pets.
